Engaging the Next Generation of Pharmaceutical Professionals

The strong participation of university student groups was among the notable features of this year’s Iran Pharma Exhibition. Students visiting Actover’s pavilion had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the structure and operations of a major pharmaceutical group, learn about different professional disciplines within the industry, and become familiar with potential career and professional development pathways across pharmaceutical manufacturing and related fields.

This engagement provided an important bridge between the academic community and the pharmaceutical industry, allowing students to gain a more practical understanding of the technical, scientific, operational, and professional dimensions of the sector.

Specialized Programs Addressing the Future of the Pharmaceutical Sector

Held under the theme “Iran Will Remain Healthy,” the 11th Iran Pharma Exhibition took place against the backdrop of the particular challenges and evolving conditions affecting the pharmaceutical sector in recent months.

In addition to the exhibition floor, the event featured a range of specialized forums and interactive programs designed to facilitate expert dialogue and promote knowledge exchange.

The Iran Pharma Stage served as a forum for strategic discussions on the future of Iran’s pharmaceutical industry, with experts and stakeholders examining issues related to policymaking, decision-making, industry governance, and the broader strategic environment of the pharmaceutical sector.

The Iran Pharma Talk provided a platform for conversations with pharmaceutical executives, specialists, and industry professionals, focusing on professional experiences, strategic decisions, industry challenges, and lessons learned throughout their careers.

These sessions extended beyond conventional industry reporting and quantitative indicators, placing greater emphasis on the professional experiences and perspectives of individuals who have played a role in shaping the development and future direction of Iran’s pharmaceutical industry.

Strengthening Industry-to-Industry and Institutional Engagement

Another key component of the 11th Iran Pharma Exhibition was Iran Pharma Connect, a dedicated platform designed to facilitate structured engagement and strengthen professional relationships among pharmaceutical industry stakeholders.

The program featured specialized meetings in B2B (Business-to-Business), B2G (Business-to-Government), and G2G (Government-to-Government) formats, creating opportunities for participants to discuss technical and business capabilities, industry requirements, regulatory and operational challenges, and potential areas for cooperation.
