The ceremony began with a speech by Ms. Nahaleh Naraghi, CEO of Actoverco, followed by Dr. Jamal Shams (psychiatrist and faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences), Dr. Farhad Assarzadegan (neurologist and faculty member of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences) and Dr. Mohammad Arbabi (psychiatrist and faculty member of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Roozbeh Hospital) gave a scientific lecture on the importance of these drugs and their therapeutic status.

Introduced drugs include a novel medication for the treatment of refractory depression (especially in patients that experience side effects with other antidepressants), treatment of epilepsy in people over 4 years of age and treatment of psychotic symptoms in patients with bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
